ABOUT THE APP
The app was designed to make it easy, fun and straightforward to design fantastic DTM floorplans. Read all about the app and its features (or just go straight ahead and download it via the buttons below to see for yourself!)
In a nutshell, the app helps you to design a freestyle Dressage to music floorplan. You can then share that floorplan with others. Although the app doesn't provide music for your floorplan, we do have a handy directory of music producers who can.

Getting Started
To start a new floorplan (there's a video describing this in detail here) you'll need to:
-
add a rider (full name, first name or nickname, up to you)
-
add a horse (stable or show name)
-
choose your country (at the moment we've only got freestyle dressage to music tests from Great Britain loaded as well as FEI [also under GB] from PSG to Grand Prix, but will be adding more from the USA, Australia and New Zealand very soon)
-
choose your level (long arena Prelim-Advanced Medium & PSG to Grand Prix)
and then you can start designing (**note that for GB Prelim - Advanced Medium levels only you'll need to set your movement checklist)

Building your Floorplan
To build up your floorplan, you add moves. These moves are checked by the app and if they are on the compulsory move list**, it'll be ticked off or if it's on the prohibited moves list, it'll be flagged up.
At first, there's a lot to take in when you look at the app, so let's break it down.
Unsurprisingly the very first move is the centre line entry. It's your only choice for move #1, but you can choose:
-
what pace you enter in (make sure it's the right pace for your level!)
-
where you halt and salute on the centre line

An example of setting the first centre line. Here, we've selected to enter in collected
canter and do our halt at L
You can change pace by tapping on one of the pace buttons in the horizontal scroll bar above the arena and you can change where the halt happens just by tapping there in the arena with your finger.
When you're happy with your first move, tap "save and add next move".
Next Moves
Now you can add any move you can imagine (well, within the realms of normal Dressage and the level you're designing for!). Tap here to see the list of moves used in Dressage to Music and how they can be added to the app.

**Setting Compulsory and Prohibited Move Checklists
If you're a GB rider doing a level from Prelim to Advanced Medium, you need to set your own movement checklists using the official test sheet. It's simple and easy to do, plus you can reuse checklists that you've used for other floorplans to make things even easier! Tap here for more info.
